Installation of Level-2 charging stations in municipalities and Indigenous communities in Québec.

The 4,500-Charging Stations Grant Program is for municipalities or Indigenous communities in Québec that would like to provide more electric charging stations in their downtown core, in densely populated neighbourhoods or near a park or a tourist site.

In 2026

Should a project to install charging stations be selected, the grant will cover eligible expenses, before taxes, up to:

• $12,990 per single-connector charging station

• $25,980 per double-connector charging station

Grant applications can be submitted throughout the entire year.

Submitting a grant application to Hydro-Québec for a project to install charging stations does not guarantee it will be approved or that the grant will be awarded.
