Step 1

Hold your Circuit électrique card in front of the scanner or locate the charging station in the mobile app, then press Start.

Step 2

Unplug the connector from the charging station.

Step 3

Plug the connector into your car’s socket.

Step 4

When the charging is complete, return the connector to the station and lower the cover to complete the transaction.

How are the rates set at standard Level 2 charging stations?

Rates at standard Level 2 charging stations are set by their owners, according to a pricing framework established by the Electric Circuit. They are displayed on the station’s screen as well as in its details on the mobile app.

Rates can be set in one of the following ways:

  • A flat fee

  • A fixed hourly rate

  • An hourly rate based on time blocks

Hourly Rate

  • Fixed: between $0.25 and $3 per hour of charging, billed by the second. *

  • By time slots: between $0.25 and $3 per hour of charging, according to established periods.*

*Note: In these two cases, an inactivity fee (between $0 and $3 per hour) can be set, when the charge is complete, but the vehicle is still connected to the charging station.

Flat Rate

Between $0 and $20 per charging session (without inactivity fees)
